Military Family

Coups For Troops has 2 ways that we serve our military families. Each target different groups, please select the best option for your family.

Direct Mail: We pride ourselves in that we send coupons directly to the door of our families. We have heard horror stories of boxes of coupons being shipped to the PX and thrown away, or opened and left at the PX for people to dig through and hope to find the right coupons for the items they need that trip. Here in the states, I would plan my trip and meals based on the coupons I have in order to save the most money, why should you be any different? So within our DM program, we match you with an individual Donor(s), and they send you their unwanted or expired coupons. We try to match each family with at least 3 donors, so that if one is busy and can’t get an envelope out that week, then the family isn’t relying on just that one family. Anyone is welcome in this program.

Large Donor Swap Coordinator: We have volunteers, church groups, businesses, etc that collect coupons from their communities and send boxes of coupons (up to 20 lb) overseas. Rather than trying to distribute the larger amounts out to several families, we send the boxes directly to 1 person. That Coordinator then distributes the coupons to others in their area/base. We just ask that they don’t take the box to a PX and leave it (see note under Direct Mail). Most of our coordinator shares the boxes with 5 or more families and the number of boxes depend on the size of the swap group.
